Gerold Picard of the Long Island Graduate Chapter of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Inc. served as a guest speaker, addressing the graduating class upon how the Academy has impacted his life.
“Last night I had the opportunity to provide the alumni address to the graduating class of 2019 academy of finance at new Hyde Park memorial high school. Feelings of love, joy and nostalgia was in the air. High school memories were re-lived and while reflecting in the moment, I admired and saw how important these teachers were to our development and the impact they’ve had on our lives as I shared some tips & plays for the class of ‘19 playbook. I was happy to have my sister there and my friend Temi was able to capture these amazing shots. Today is my mothers birthday. She would’ve been 59 today I know she’s watching with her beautiful smile.” – Gerold P.
